Trained as a Biochemist and Molecular Biologist, Steven has had a long career as an analyst, investment banker and portfolio manager on Wall Street and in the City of London. He was a co-founder, Protein Sciences Inc., Steribottle Ltd and Tissuomics and has been an investor and advisor to many ventures and companies over the past 30 years. His latest position was as an advisor on Business and Strategic Development at e-Therapeutics plc, an AIM-listed network pharmacology-based drug discovery company based in Newcastle, UK.

Simon has had a career that spans over 20 years in life sciences both academia and industry. His experience includes over fourteen years in senior management at Oxagen, Solexa, MedPharm and Glide Pharma with responsibilities covering all aspects of business and corporate development, from start-up phase to public listing. He trained in Human Genetics at Oxford where he completed his DPhil and where Simon was also a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow at Oxford with over 100 scientific publications. He is currently an independent consultant working as an advisor for companies such as Inhibox, Menarini Biotech and Arecor and is currently the Chief Business Officer of Colwiz, a web 2.0 company in the scientific collaboration arena.

Andrew Wood, BSc., ACA-Director and CFO
Mr. Andrew B. Wood served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Oxford BioMedica PLC. until February 10, 2012. Mr. Wood joined Oxford BioMedica from the Yorkshire Cable Group where he managed financial operations. Before joining Oxford BioMedica he was Finance Director at the Yorkshire Cable Group (part of General Cable plc). Previously, he has held senior financial positions with subsidiaries of the Burton Group (now Arcadia), Associated Newspapers and Fenner. He has a BSc in Biochemistry from Oxford University. Andrew is a Chartered accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
